Tata Email Finder ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What We Collect

When you use the Extension, we collect:

• Account information: email address and hashed password (for authentication)
• Contact data: names, email addresses, companies, positions, and LinkedIn URLs that you save through the Extension
• Search queries: domains and names you search for email finding
• Usage data: number of searches performed (for quota tracking)

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• Browsing history or activity outside the Extension's scope
• Personal messages or emails
• Passwords in plain text (we use bcrypt hashing)
• Credit card details (all payments go through PayPal or manual QR codes)

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide email finding and contact management services
• To enforce usage limits (80 searches/month for free tier)
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To improve the Extension's functionality

4. Third-Party Services

The Extension uses Hunter.io API for email discovery. When you perform a domain search, the domain name is sent to Hunter.io's API. Hunter.io's privacy policy applies to that data transfer.

Payments are processed through PayPal. We do not store or process credit card information.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers located in Singapore (Vultr). We use industry-standard encryption (bcrypt for passwords, HTTPS for all communications).

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

• Access your data at any time through the Extension
• Export your contacts in CSV format
• Delete your account and all associated data (contact us)
